Malcolm Dare is one of South Africa's foremost commercial photographers. He wanted a quietly elegant online showcase of his work...in particular to target advertising agencies.

Each section of the site is playfully named to include the word 'dare' and loads a full-width film strip of thumbnail images. For impact, larger images hide the film strip when opened. The site also includes a feature on Fruitart (Malcolm's recipe book collaboration with Lannice Snyman) where subtle animation of the photographs introduces the visitor to three recipes.
