Alacrity

Background:

Alacrity is a sotware solutions company borne out of the merger of MagmaTec and Comprehend-IT. They needed a brand.

The big idea:

Exploit the obvious...a bit like this...

Features:

Professional and polished, the logo is designed to appeal to small and large companies particularly in the Financial Services, Media, Health, Legal and Government sectors. The execution is fresh and memorable. The simplicity of the logotype is an expression of efficiency - important to clients when choosing an IT partner. The highlight of the logo is the playfully obvious magenta 'it' which not only describes what Alacrity does, but sets it very much apart from the competition. A series of icons (such as magenta cogs) has been developed and advertising has been produced around the theme We think IT  featuring a brain icon and binary code that translates as 'intelligent'.

Result:

A very happy client, a website that gets almost 1000 visits a month and which, shortly after launch, bagged a new client for Alacrity, one of largest hedge fund administrators in South Africa. Brand development continues and a fresh website is currently being designed.
